The problem every UA manager can picture: you launch an ad campaign, acquire users at $2-5 each, but only understand their real value after 7-30 days. By that time, you've already spent your budget, missed the opportunity to scale successful channels, and continued pouring money into ineffective sources.

Problem: Tested 10-15 new creatives weekly. Classic approach required 5-7 days to evaluate D7 LTV for each creative. By the time data arrived, best creatives were losing effectiveness, and failed ones had eaten the budget.

  • Predicted D30 LTV: 3-4x higher than cohort average
  • Important: this was visible on D1-D3

Solution: Created LAL audiences based on high-predicted-LTV segment, not generic "Install" or "Trial start" events.

What the Prediction Model Considers (and Why It Works)

The model analyzes dozens of user behavior signals already on day one: how they interact with paid features, how long they play, which levels they complete, what source they came from, what device they're on, and what country they're in.

The key is — the model is trained on millions of users from hundreds of apps across different genres. It knows that:

  • In hyper-casual, a user who passed 5+ levels in first session will remain active on D7 with 78% probability
  • In subscription apps, someone who opened 3+ features on D0 converts to paying 4x more often
  • In midcore RPG, first purchase at level 3-5 means D30 LTV 40% higher than average

The model accounts for your product's genre, lifecycle stage, and geography — and applies the right patterns for accurate forecasting.

What exactly the model predicts:

From day one (D1) → forecast for D4 and D7:

  • Overall LTV and ROAS
  • Breakdown by revenue types: ads, in-app, subscriptions
  • ROAS for each monetization type separately

From day seven (D7) → forecast for D30 and D90

From day thirty (D30) → forecast for D180 and D365

From day ninety (D90) → forecast for D720 (2 years)

This allows making decisions at each stage of cohort lifecycle without waiting for actual data.
